Laura Padin is Director of Work Structures at the National Employment Law Project, where she leads efforts to improve labor standards for outsourced workers, including workers misclassified as independent contractors or hired through temporary staffing agencies, and to hold companies that outsource work accountable to their workers. Prior to joining NELP in 2018, she was a lawyer in the labor movement and provided legal support to organizing and corporate accountability campaigns. Laura lives in DC with her spouse and three kids.
