Josh Lease is the Director of Operations at TechEquity Collaborative. Before joining the team at TechEquity, Josh was the Business Culture Partner at Burning Man Project, the arts and culture nonprofit organization behind the Burning Man event in Nevada. Josh specializes in capacity-building for nonprofit and social impact organizations, which most recently led him to serve as a Founding Advisor and Committee Member of Esalen Institute’s Artist in Residency Program.

Prior to his time at Burning Man Project Josh was the Senior Program Officer at the World Affairs Council in San Francisco, which is known for its weekly NPR  syndicated radio program “It’s Your World” and three annual conferences World Affairs, The North American Forum, and The Global Philanthropy Forum. Josh holds an MA in International Human Rights Policy and a BA in Foreign Language. When he’s out of the office Josh is an avid scuba diver and skydiver, and enjoys analogue photography.
