Marion Wellington

Marion Wellington is the Director of Communications for TechEquity Collaborative. Before joining the TechEquity team as Content & Communications Manager, they were Growth Marketer at Aurora Solar, an SF startup that creates PV design and sales software for solar installers. There they built out Aurora’s marketing strategy and initiatives nearly from inception into a comprehensive effort spanning 10 marketing channels and 4 full-time marketing roles.

Prior to working at Aurora, they worked on sales and marketing for CrossWind Technologies, a startup that streamlines computer-aided dispatch and records management software for police agencies. They graduated from Brown University with an independent major in Music Cognition, the intersection of neuroscience and music. They are involved in political organizing in San Francisco and they play in the local Bay Area band Plants!.
