Josh Lease

Josh Lease is the Director of Operations at TechEquity Collaborative. Josh specializes in capacity-building for nonprofit and social impact organizations. Before joining the team at TechEquity, Josh was the Business Culture Partner at Burning Man Project, the arts and culture nonprofit organization behind the Burning Man event in Nevada. There Josh stewarded the transition of Burning Man from a for-profit to a non-profit organization.

Prior to his time at Burning Man Project Josh was the Senior Program Officer at the World Affairs Council in San Francisco, which is known for its weekly NPR  syndicated radio program “It’s Your World”. Josh’s previous experience includes managing development projects in West Africa, researching human rights in South America, and teaching in Asia and California. Josh holds an MA in International Human Rights Policy and a BA in Foreign Language. Outside the office Josh enjoys photography and traveling, and is an avid scuba diver and skydiver.
