Carolyn Yang is the Corporate Practice Manager for TechEquity Collaborative. Carolyn’s approach to partnerships draws from being a practitioner, researcher, and entrepreneur. These experiences include project-managing a neighborhood commercial revitalization plan in New Orleans, building an emerging artist discovery platform for public art projects, and creating a roadmap for equitable recovery in a post-COVID Boston. Previously in the tech startup space, Carolyn helped gaming and e-commerce companies expand their global reach and optimize advertising spend. Carolyn witnessed inherent inequalities in economic access within the tech industry and became passionate about how community and tech partnerships drive solutions.
Carolyn holds a Master’s in City Planning from MIT’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning and a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs. In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys public art, dinner parties, concerts, and plant parenthood.
